Video: “I’m Not Rich But I’m Not Poor” by Louise Goffin
The album is titled AppleonFire and it is a reference to the “apple not falling far from the tree”. It is a saying referring to what our forefathers leave for us and for Louise Goffin, it is the gift of songwriting.
The child of legendary lyricist Gerry Goffin and equally legendary songstress, Carole King — Louise has certainly taken the legacy her parents laid out for her but she has forged her own modern sound for this generation.
